Price
The cost is $1,350 for up to 20 guests. This includes light catering and a complimentary cocktail on arrival. Cocktails are available over the course of the cruise from between $22-24 dollars.
Amenities
Licensed bar, flushing toilet (and private bathroom), EFTPOS, AUX sound system, indoor and outdoor seating, and dance floor.
Boat capacity
The Riverhead Ferry can comfortably fit up to 49 passengers, but we take a maximum of 20 people for this cruise. Please still get in touch if you have more than 20 for special consideration.

What you'll see
We will cruise at a leisurely pace through Auckland's harbour. What you'll see will depend on safe water and wind direction, but we usually cruise towards the Jellicoe and Viaduct Harbour, Devonport then depending on wind and weather, right under the Harbour Bridge to the western Waitemata Harbour, into some of the harbour's most beautiful and sheltered waters. If you choose an evening cocktail cruise, the sunsets and the city lights are incredible!

Enjoy the range of cocktails, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from our licensed bar. Delicious, light finger food provided. Eftpos available.
Onboard the ferry
Feel free to play your own music using our Bluetooth sound system, while you enjoy the beautiful harbour scenery. You’ll have access to seating in the back and front of the boat, with comfortable indoor couches available to relax too. Your safety is important to us so please follow the safety guidelines our skipper outlines at the beginning of your charter.
Health & Safety
Your safety is important to us. To ensure that your journey is smooth sailing please make sure you; use handrails when moving around the vessel, remove luggage/bags from seats and aisles, ensure you listen to safety announcements on departure, familiarise yourself with the location of the life jackets on your particular vessel, climbing, jumping or running on board the vessel is not permitted at any time, and do not stand on seats or sit on railings. Please note: doorways on our vessel are 45 centimeters wide (0.45 meters). Please wear soft, comfortable, and supportive shoes — no gumboots, penny heels, and work boots.
Refunds & Cancellations
Please note the date and time you've requested is still available to others until the deposit or the total amount is paid. Your booking is confirmed when we receive the deposit amount. All our cruises are designed with your safety and comfort in mind. In the event of unsafe sea and weather conditions, we may have to cancel the charter in the interests of your safety. If we need to cancel your trip due to bad weather, we will re-schedule your cruise for a new date or offer a full refund. A pre-warning will be provided 3 days before your departure time, but our owner & skipper will make a final call on the day. When booking, a refundable deposit is required for up to 28 days before departure. Full payment is due 28 days before the date or paid in full if booking within 28 days before your chosen date. Once full payment has been made, it will not be refunded if the charter is cancelled. If you need to cancel the charter due to unforeseen circumstances we can reschedule the charter to an alternative date.
Terms & Conditions
To ensure the safety of our guests, all guests have to be sober when arriving for your charter. Anyone who turns up drunk or 'pre-loaded' and is not fit for travel, will not get onto the boat, and the charter will be cancelled without a refund. The decision is made by the bar manager and/or the skipper. While you are on board, if anyone participates in rude, inappropriate or disorderly behavior, the charter will be cancelled with no refund and we will return back to the marina. We do not tolerate aggressive, rude behaviour to our staff or skipper. BYO alcohol is not permitted on the boat as we have a licensed bar on board. Drinking in the Westhaven Marina Car Park before and after the charter will not be tolerated. If you bring your own alcohol onto Riverhead Ferry, we will have to cancel the charter with no refund. No drugs or illicit substances are permitted onboard any of our charters. If any of the previously specified behavior is seen during the charter, or there are any damages made to the boat due to drunk or disorderly behavior, Riverhead Ferry holds the right to charge $500 to the credit card on file as a bond. These terms and conditions are set out to ensure everyone's enjoyment and safety; we do love to have a good time, so make sure you relax, enjoy and dance the day or night away! It is possible to increase the number of passengers but not change to fewer passengers after four weeks before departure.
